When Yang Tian retorted, Yao Nan was temporary lost for words. Such a magical way to poison someone, they had no defense against it. How many insects were there in the world. Could they've avoided them all?
- But you shouldn't have just left the patient to die like that.
Yang Tian chuckled:
- Tell me, what relationship do I have with that guy? Curing his poison was something out of my expectation in the first place. I've also offended some riffraff group of Venomancer because of that.
Yao Nan heard what Yang Tian said and couldn't help but be surprised:
- You mean...
Yang Tian shook his head:
- The Vemon clan has very strict laws. One of those is that if anyone dared to cure a Gu poison without the consent of its Venomancer owner, that person will be considered a great enemy and must eliminated at all cost. Since that Venomancer had already killed your patient, he'll soon come for me.
After hearing the whole story, Yao Nan finally knew that because of him, Yang Tian has offended a great enemy. He looked at Yang Tian was regret:
- I'm so sorry. You're in danger because of me. Don't worry, I'll mobilize all the forces that the Yao Clan have at our disposal to protect you. I won't let you come into any harm.
- Stop. That last sentence of yours is something that only a man say to the woman that he loves. If you use that with me then it'll cause misunderstandings. Furthermore, don't worry about this. If that Venomancer could endanger me then I wouldn't have gotten involve in the first place.
Even though Yang Tian assured him, Yao Nan was still a bit hesitant. Yang Tian wasn't in the mood to debate so he said:
- If you feel guilty then help me ask you sister out for a date as an apology. That would settle it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go.
As he said that, Yang Tian got up and left, leaving Yao Nan to his own thoughts. At this moment, an insect that was perched nearby flew out the window into an alleyway quite far away.
Even though it was noon, the alleyway was still dark and damp. A man was sitting on top of a pile of garbage, surrounded by many types of insects. He looked no different than a corpse that had decomposed for a couple of days. The insect flew into the alleyway and landed on his shoulder. After a while, the man opened his eyes:
- So the one that ruined my plan was you.
Ever since Yang Tian exited the coffee shop, his spiritual sense was honed into this insect. Thay guy actually tried to spy on him with this pathetic trick. Since he had to deal with this sooner or later, might as well do it now.
The man only said one sentence before closing his eyes again. The night was his realm so he could only wait until then to find Yang Tian. On the other hand, Yang Tian wasn't so bored as to wait for him. His figure immediately appeared before the alleyway. He smiled:
- I've heard that you are looking for me. How could I help you?
Being started by the sudden sound, the man jumped off from the pile of trash and looked at Yang Tian cautiously:
- Who are you?
- Aren't you looking for me?
The man was taken aback. He never saw Yang Tian personally and only left some fragrant mark through that insect. It was too bad that the mark was casually erased by Yang Tian. It wasn't for any specially reason, he just hated bugs.
Yang Tian shook his head:
- Important people sure are forgetful. You are even more of a scatter brain then I thought. Weren't you the one that was spying on us earlier with that bug?
The man immediately retreated backwards and gained a considerable amount of distance on Yang Tian. Currently, he wasn't at his peak and most Venomacers weren't adept at fighting close range.
- You are the one that ruined my plan.
- Didn't you already returned and killed him? How about we pretend that this never happened? What do you say?
Yang Tian raised his hand and a fireball appeared:
- Then let me send you off to the Underworld.
The man didn't uttered another word, his pupils dilated and half moons appeared in them. Many bugs off different color poured out of his body. Yang Tian saw the man's eyeballs and was a bit startled:
- Half Moon Butterfly. How could a tiny Venom clan have this kind of Gu poison?
The man was also startled by Yang Tian's words. He accidentally discovered this Gu poison and chose it as his life-bound Gu. Although it wasn't ranked on the Gu poison board, it's fighting strength was very high. The only drawback was that he would be weakened during the day.
- You know of this Gu poison?
- You are someone that's about to die. Why care about such things.
As he said that, the fireball flashed and then collided straight into the man. Be it the man or the bug surrounding him, none offered any resistance as they burned to cinder. Yang Tian waved his hand and two things flew out of the fire:
- An identity card, it seemed that this person's position within the Venom Clan isn't that low. It seems that I'll be bothered by the Venom Clan in the future.
With Yang Tian's aversion to trouble, he must find a way to conclusively end this situation as soon as possible. The best way was to track down the Venom Clan and teach them a lesson. As to where to find them, his only remaining lead was Wang Bao.
Yang Tian didn't want to see that guy away. If he knew this would happen, he would've kept the man alive for a bit longer. Another flame flashed out and the card was evaporated. The only thing remaining in his hand was a butterfly. It's entire body was black and there was half moons on its wings.
He touched the Half Moon Butterfly and it was seemingly brought to life. It flapped its wings and then took off. Yang Tian looked at the departing the butterfly and sighed:
- Han Shuang, I didn't think I'd meet one of your kind here.
Han Shuang Fairy true from was a Heavenly Moon Butterfly. A Half Moon Butterfly would need multiple evolution to reach that state. She was the ruler of the Immortal Butterfly race. Yang Tian only met her after a battle with the Immortal Butterfly race.
A Half Moon Butterfly wasn't supposed to show up here so this was very strange indeed. Could something have happened to the Immortal Butterfly race? As Yang Tian thought of this, he couldn't help but chuckled:
- I'm overthinking this. Hang Shuang's strength is already at Half Immortal. Who could harm her?
Yang Tian cleared his head and then returned home. He couldn't continue to stay at such filthy place and he didn't want to stay.
Two days later, Yang Tian went to the capital as per his promise with Ye Wen Tian. He took out his phone and called Ye Wen Tian:
- I'm at the lobby of the largest hotel in the capital. Come and pick me up.
Ye Wen Tian was taken aback:
- What are you there for?
- Aren't all large conferences held at such a place? After the conference, they could even have a meal afterwards so isn't it more convenient to have it here?
Hearing what Yang Tian said, Ye Wen Tian chuckled:
- That's true for regular conferences. However do you know how many powers would appear in this one?
- Isn't it just the Dark Society and the four great powers?
- No, this matter affects the life and death of every power in the world. So this time we didn't just invite the four great powers, there are some medium and lesser powers of the Shrouded Continent as well as the 100 great clans in the world.
Yang Tian was taken aback:
- Are you guys planning to join together into an army?
- That's right, if the opponent is truly a Nascent Soul Cultivator then all this preparation would be necessary. However if you joined in...
Knowing what Ye Wen Tian was about to say next, Yang Tian cut him off:
- No need to say anything else. I won't be participating in this. Just a heavily injured Nascent Soul that haven't even fully recovered yet. If you can't even handle that, do you want me to protect you guys forever? Send someone to pick me up.
Yang Tian then hung up. Ye Wen Tian heard the beeping sound from his hone and could only smile wryly. What did he mean by "just" a Nascent Soul Cultivator. A Nascent Soul Grand Cultivator, even if heavily injured, could still annihilate several dozens Golden Cores easily.
