- That won't do. My cultivation is higher, I should be the bait.
Qing Wu heard that Yang Tian wanted to be the bait and immediately shot him down:
- Although your cultivation is high, you don't know the directions inside. If you get lost then you'll never escape. Not only that, their target is me and not you.
- I can use my spiritual sense. I believe that if they detect me then they'll focus on me either way. Killing me is far more valuable than killing you.
- You have spiritual sense?
This time Qing Wu was in quite a bit of shock. The higher the cultivation of a Cultivator, the more powerful their soul. Spiritual sense was a special form of the soul and it could be used to observe and examine the surrounding. A Cultivator that had reached Foundation Establishment can emanate spiritual sense but without a special cultivation method, they would need to wait until Golden Core to be able to use their spiritual sense.
- That's right.
- It seems that your clan is very big indeed.
It seemed that Qing Wu had agreed to the plan by her words. She chose to believe that Yang Tian had a special cultivation method rather than him being a Golden Core Cultivator. If Yang Tian possessed spiritual sense then he would would be far safer than her.
Seeing that she finally agreed, Yang Tian breath a sigh of relief. This little lady was very stubborn indeed.
- So when are we executing the plan?
- I need 3, 4 days to prepare. When I'm done, I'll call you. This is your new phone, I've programmed my number in it.
Yang Tian was taken aback, something wasn't quite right:
- You want to chase me away.
- Not unless you want to sleep with me.
Looking around the house, there was indeed only one small bed. Yang Tian could sleep on the floor but Qing Wu wouldn't likely to agree. Were there any women that was comfortable with a man sleeping next to them unless their relationship had reached a certain point. Their relationship however was far from that point.
Carrying his stuff outside, Qing Wu didn't hesitate to close the door on him. Yang Tian was very hasty in his departure this time so he didn't notified anyone. Not only that, he was used to telling people how busy he was so disappearing for a couple of days was not unusual.
After looking lost and staring at the sky for a moment, Yang Tian decided to take a bit of a tour. When night time comes, he would try to freeload at Ting Ting's house. He wondered if she was kind enough to let him spend the night.
Hailing a cab, Yang Tian told the driver to take him to the classiest restaurant in the city. When they arrived, Yang Tian even tipped him. The restaurant was very big and was constructed in a modern way. According to the driver, it could be listed in the top 5 in the entire country.
Yang Tian went inside and a server attended to him dutifully:
- Greeting sir, are you here alone or expecting company?
- Alone.
- Then follow me please.
He followed the server to a small table near the stage and after a while, a menu was brought before him. After reading through the menu, he saw that the cheapest was still more than 60 Euro and the most expensive item surpassed 500 Euro. This place sure knows how to wring its customer dry. He turned to asked the waiter:
- Do you accept foreign currency here?
- Sir, we only accept Euro and USD.
- That's fine then. First off, bring me to a bigger table. Then bring me all the items on your menu.
The waiter was shocked:
- All of it? Are you sure you didn't misspoke?
- Bring all of it.
- This... Can you wait for moment?
Yang Tian waited for few moment before the waiter brought a young man dressed in elegant clothing.
- Hello, I am the manager. Are you the person that ordered everything on the menu?
- That's right, what's the problem? You don't have everything on the menu? That's fine, bring everything that you do have up here.
Yang Tian knew that for dishes with special ingredients, sometimes they do run out. The manager quickly refuted him:
- That's not the problem, you can order everything. However we have more than 100 dishes on the menu. I'm not sure you'll be able to eat all of it.
- No need to worry about this. Are you afraid that I don't have enough money?
As he said that, Yang Tian slide out a card. The manager's eyes were very good and he immediately recognized that this was a special platinum card from one of Switzerland's bank. Only the biggest client of the bank possessed this. It seemed that this person wasn't here to disrupt business.
The manager bowed and said formally:
- You misunderstood. I'll tell the kitchen to prepare your meal. Please wait a moment.
He turned to the waiter:
- Take this guest to the VIP room.
Yang Tian was then brought to a large room with expensive decoration. Inside were people playing piano along with some weird trumpet. The atmosphere was very soothing.
The food was soon brought to him and Yang Tian was enjoying different types of wine and sampling all different kinds of dishes. The waiter at the side wiped away his sweat as he looked Yang Tian. Dishes after dishes were devoured yet Yang Tian saw no sign of stopping.
For Yang Tian, he was just enjoying the flavor. It didn't mattered how much he ate. Plates and plates of food was brought up until the last dish was served. After more than two hours, Yang Tian finally ate it all. Yang Tian looked at the waiters, who by this point all had expression of shocked and horror on their faces, as they looked at him like a monster.
- Alright, bring me the check. I'm a busy man.
The entire meal cost him more than 10 thousand Euro. Yang Tian wasn't too bothered by this. On his way out, he casually destroyed all cellphones and any recording devices. Yang Tian didn't want his name plastered all over news after the first day here.
As he stepped out of the restaurant, Yang Tian felt several pair of eyes on him. He shook his head in disbelief. He didn't think that he would raise so much attention with just one meal. Yang Tian walked to an alleyway and then disappeared. After a while, several people went into the same alleyway:
- Where did he go?
- I'm not sure, we all saw him going in here.
- Such a shame.

Continuing his tour of the city, Yang Tian stopped by several famous attractions. However he wasn't too thrilled since he was going along. Feeling bored, Yang Tian decided to go fin Ting Ting. He followed the address to an apartment complex. Ting Ting's apartment was on the 11th floor. Yang Tian took the elevator up and rang the doorbell.
A middle aged woman opened the door:
- Yes, can I help you?
- I am a friend of Ting Ting. I'm here to visit her.
- Ting Ting? You mean Elise. She is inside, wait for moment.
After a while, Ting Ting quickly rushed out and after seeing Yang Tian, smiled brightly:
- Yang Tian, you are here. Come on in, I didn't think that you would come.
- How could that be. A date with a beauty, how could I not come.
Following Ting Ting inside, Yang Tian had a bad premonition. He didn't find anything out of ordinary but this was a premonition born from thousands of battles. This premonition told him that there was something odd with this house but it didn't pose any threat to him.
The two head into the living room and Ting Ting happily asked Yang Tian:
- You are here at the right time. My father was saying that he wanted to meet you to give his thanks.
- Think nothing of it, it's a small matter.
- How could that be? Are you saying that my life is a small matter?
Yang Tian clammed up, it seemed that he was being modest at the wrong time. Ting Ting didn't pay any further attention to it and said:
- Do you have a place to stay tonight? How about staying here? It's a small apartment but we still have an empty room.
This was Yang Tian's intention so he didn't reject her:
- Then I must trouble you. I still haven't found a place to stay tonight.
At this moment, a man walked out and from his age, he must be Ting Ting's father. He evaluated Yang Tian for a bit then said:
- You are the one that saved Elise?
