Chapter 7 - Cultivators

After exiting the Hai Nan Bar, Yan Tian was immediately swarmed:
 

- Yang Tian, you were brilliant. To able to knock out so many people at once.
 

- Where did you study martial arts? I want to study too.
 

- Yang Tian you looked very handsome when you were beating them up. Do you have a girlfriend?
 

Yang Tian was at a lost for words. Fortunately Li Pan understood his predicament and extricated Yang Tian from his adoring fans:
 

- Yang Tian and I have some matters to take care. We can talk more tomorrow.
 

Seeing that Li Pan was helping him, Yang Tian quickly nodded:
 

- That's right, I have some urgent matters to attend to, see you all tomorrow.
 

Not waiting for a response, Yang Tian dragged Li Pan to the parking lot. A while after, Li Pan regained his breath:
 

- Stop, I can't run anymore. You don't need to run so fast, they aren't going to eat you.
 

After a bit of rest, Li Pan looked up to Yang Tian and seriously said:
 

- Yang Tian, I have something to ask you.
 

- What is it?
 

- Are you a Cultivator?
 

Yang Tian was taken aback, he didn't think that Li Pan would know of cultivators. It seems that the Li Clan was quite a big clan. It's not a big secret, cultivators aren't know to ordinary people but the higher ups and big clans all know of them. The big clans even have high level cultivators guarding them.
 

- Yes, I am a cultivator. It seems that your Li clan is a very big clan.
 

Li Pan almost jump for joy and looked at Yang Tian with begging eyes:
 

- Yang Tian, I know we just met but I hope that you can help me with something. It's very important to me.
 

- Getting my help is not difficult. All you have to do is to pay an equivalent price.
 

Li Pan grinded his teeth:
 

- If you can help me, I would pay any price.
 

Yang Tian rejoiced. Although he didn't know if Li Pan was as capable as he say he was but at least he could help him with some problems.
 

- Alright, if you agree to provide me with detailed information of any beauties I want, I'll help you with a problem of any kind.
 

Li Pan was taken aback:
 

- Is that all?
 

- It's not simple as you think. I need information of a lot of beauties, some with very special background.
 

- Not a problem, just leave it to me.
 

Li Pan offended a Clan Elder's son and was expelled because he had no cultivating talent. Ever since then, he studied hacking skills hoping to win the approval of his clan. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't return. Li Clan was a cultivation clan, they only care for those with cultivation talents not those with computer skill.
Li Pan's hacking skills are very good, he can be counted amongst the top 100 hackers. And what are hackers good for? It's precisely information gathering and stealing.
 

- Good, that settles it, I...
 

In the middle of his sentence, Yang Tian suddenly look up at the distant: "Spiritual qi fluctuations. There are cultivators fighting". He quickly turns to Li Pan:
 

- You go on ahead, I have something to do. We'll talk later.
Not waiting for Li Pan's response, Yang Tian vanish, Li Pan muttered:
 

- Very formidable. Good, the better he is the greater my chances of returning to the clan.
 

Executing his Body Concealment technique, Yang Tian immediately flew to where the spiritual qi was fluctuating. Flying to a forest at the foot of a mountain, Yang Tian saw a group of people battling, most of them at Qi Refining stage. In the sky are two early stage Foundation Establishment battling. Blocking an incoming flaming eagle, the black clothed man yelled:
 

- You want wage war with our Devil Sect?

The elderly man wearing white Taichi clothing, looked at the black clothed man and snarled:
 

- Wage war? It was your Devil Sect disciple that killed our disciple, You think that our Hidden Dragon Mountain are afraid of you?
 

Hidden Dragon Island? Yang Tian have some knowledge of the Devil Sect but this was his first time hearing of Hidden Dragon Island. Might this be a new rising power at the Shrouded Continent?
 

Shrouded Continent was a mysterious continent not present on any world map. According to the legends, more than 2000 years ago a supreme cultivator slashed a piece of the Cultivation World. Because he was heavily injured, the supreme cultivator rode the fallen piece of continent and merged with Earth. Yang Tian knew this legend to be true. In fact he himself killed that very same supreme cultivator.
 

All cultivation technique stemmed from this continent. The Shrouded Continent was surrounded by a massive illusion array that blocks any satellite from seeing it. It also stopped spiritual qi from leaking out. The amount of spiritual qi in the Shrouded Continent was many times thicker than that of Earth, so the level of cultivators there was very high.
 

However, because there are still places on Earth with dense spiritual qi and natural treasures, cultivators on the Shrouded Continent still set up branches to gather these resources or find talents. Because of this, cultivation techniques were given to Earthlings for the purpose of resource gathering. In the beginning, because of the difference in cultivation, the people of the Shrouded Continent only saw Earthlings as slaves but after some time a few genius Earthlings appeared and met with fortuitous encounters leading to their cultivation equaling that of the high level cultivators of the Continent. Although the Shrouded Continent still possessed more high level cultivators, Earth possessed the aid of the modern technology and this eventually created an equilibrium. The two side still interacted with each other, both supporting each other as well as engaging in conflict.
 

At this moment the Devil Sect elder could no longer continue. Even though he and the Hidden Dragon Island elder  have the same cultivation, the other side brought more disciples. If he kept getting restrained by the other person, his disciples might be wiped out.
 

- We will admit our faults and compensate you. We should stop now, if we continue this fighting we will attract the attention of the Dark Society. If that happens all the treasures will fall out of our grasp.
 

The Hidden Dragon Island elder saw reason and knows that they shouldn't continue so he signals his disciple to stop:
 

- Good, we will stop for now. I want you to compensate us 100 spirit stones.
 

Grinding his teeth, the Devil Sect elder threw a pouch to the Hidden Dragon Island elder, then looked angrily deep into the mountain:
 

- We should begin, the other people might still catch up to us.

After that, he flew upwards bringing all of his disciple. The other person also signaled his disciple to follow.
 

Yang Tian had no interest toward the natural treasures but what caught his attention was a young woman using Body Concealment technique watching from afar. Her cultivation was around early Golden Core stage. It seems that she wanted to be the praying mantis catching the cicadas. She was shrouded with a cloak and was dressed in all black.  Using his spiritual sense, he can see that she has a perfect body with a mask that blocked spiritual sense. If one tries to forcefully broke through, they'll be exposed. Yang Tian guessed that she could be a great beauty and followed behind her looking for an opportunity to make acquaintance.
 

The woman was completely oblivious to the fact that someone was following behind her. She was still using the Body Concealment technique to follow the group of people. Yang Tian wondered: "Is this mantis catching the cicada and the sparrow following behind? Then I must a very large sparrow."
