Chapter 22 - Gathering from Four Corners of The World

T/N: I've changed all mention of demon in the story thus far to devil because it'll be more consistent in the future when other stuff are introduced. The Demonic Lady will be changed to Dark Lady however since Devil Lady sounds kinda iffy.

 At this time, Ye Ling and mama Ye had already set the table and laid it full of food. Yang Tian took a look at the table and complimented:

- It looks very good, I can't wait to taste it.

Mama Ye smiled and said:

- Xiao Tian, no need for formalities, sit down and enjoy it.

As the four people sat down to eat, Yang Tian dug in without any formalities. Ye Ling was smiling as bright as a flower.  She cooked half of the food here and seeing Yang Tian enjoying it made her felt very happy. Ye Wen Tian coughed:

- Yang Tian, there's no need to rush, I'm not eating your portion.

Yang Tian slowed down and looked at mama Ye:

- Aunuty, the food that you cooked are extraordianry, Uncle was lucky that he married you.

Mama Ye smiled, thinking that this young man sure knew how to flatter a woman. Ye Wen Tian eyes went wide and stared at Yang Tian thinking: "Who gave you permission to call us uncle and aunty. Do you have intentions on my daughter? Not a chance". Ye Ling was blushing profusedly and lightly nudged Yang Tian:

- Who gave you permission to call them that?

Yang Tian pretended:

- So how should I call them?

- You...

Mama Ye stepped in:

- Xiao Tian, if it's good then have some more. Half of these were made by Xiao Ling for you.

Ye Ling glared at her mother:

- Mom...

Yang Tian had a happy look on his face. This was moving faster than he expected could his womanizing fate finally took hold?

Ye Wen Tian was getting a bit jealous now. He knew that his daughter had great cooking skills equalling that of her mother. But no matter how much he requested her to cook, she only occasionally did it  when she wanted him to be a guinea pig for her crreation. This brat Yang Tian just got here and she already willingly cooked for him which was not good. Ye Wen Tian sighed thinking that the ancient saying: "Daughters are other people's children" was very accurate. She hadn't even been married off yet she was already devoted to him.

Ye Wen Tian didn't say anything else and focused on the meal. After dinner, seeing that it's already late, Yang Tian took his leave. Ye Ling originally wanted to see him off but before Yang Tian could celebrate, Ye Wen Tian said:

- Ling-er, let me see him off. I have something I want to talk to him about.

Listening to her father, Ye Ling was a bit disappointed but she still said her goodbyes and wet back to her room. Yang Tian looked hatefully at Ye Wen Tian but the person in question pretended that nothing happened. The two walked side by side to the elevator. Once inside and the doors shut, Ye Wen Tian pulled out his phone and showed Yang Tian a text.

After Yang Tian read the text and the accompanying images, Ye Wen Tian said:

- Although these pictures were taken from afar, the resolution is very good. It's a bit blurry but given to an expert, I'm sure they could still make out your place. I know of your past entanglement with the Devil Sect and they will quickly find their way to you.

When he reached this point, Ye Wen Tian paused and wait for Yang Tian to ask him for help. After all, the Devil Sect was a massive power and no matter how talented Yang Tian was he could not hope to solve this by himself. He wanted Yang Tian to owe him a favor.

How could Yang Tian not know what Ye Wen Tian was thinking and thought: " If only he knew that not only did I spoil the Devil Sect's plan but also took the Blood Devil Sword and offended the Heavenly Mountain Saintess. I'm pretty sure that old man from the Hidden Dragon Island would report that incident to his superiors. I wonder if he would want to offer his help if he knew".
Even so, Yang Tian decided not to bother  Ye Wen Tian since he was still Ye Ling's father and he didn't want to harm him. He looked at Ye Wen Tian and said:

- I know, I'll handle it well.

Seeing that Yang Tian wasn't accepting his goodwil, Ye Wen Tian got angry:

- Handling what well? Do you know what the Devil Sect is? If they have a grudge, they would surely come and solve it. Even if you strength is higher, how long can you hold out?

Yang Tian shook his head:

- I'll handle it. You shouldn't get involve, I don't want to see Ye Ling heartbroken.

Ye Wen Tian was about to add something but Yang TIan stopped him:

- I know that you have good intentions but things are not as simple at you think. Just let me handle it.
Ye Wen Tian saw his confidence and decided to leave him alone:

- When you can't handle it then don't come running to me.

Yang Tian didn't say another word. When the elevator reached its destination and Ye Wen Tian turned back, Yang Tian took his car and drove home. It's been a long day and he wanted to get home to rest. Tomorrow he would need to cure Old Wang's daughter.

At this time, in a hotel near Qing Lin district, Su Yue Er was staring at a TV screen. After turning it off, she took out her number and dialed:

- Get me a car, I want to make a trip to Qing Lin district.

Not waiting for the other side to respond, she turned the phone off and gnashed her teeth:

- I don't believe that I would lose to you this time.

She was the Heavenly Mountain Saintess, her cultivation was always supreme amongst her peers and she had her own pride. The fact that she was helpless the last time in front of Yang Tian annoyed her and she wanted a rematch. If she found Yang Tian, Su Yue Er would challenge him again despite her mission.

Hidden Dragon Island, an elderly man dressed in white regalia was standing in front of a cave shrouded by a layer of light. He bowed respectfully:

- Sect Leader, we have found traces of the Blood Devil Sword.

The cave was silent for a moment, the a voice ranged out:

- We must not let the sword fall into the hands of the Devil Sect. Stop them and try to create a good relationship with the sword's current owner. I feel that he's not so simple.

The old man bowed respectfully:

- As you command.

After he left, a sigh can be heard from inside the cave:

- We were outdone by the Devil Sect last time, let's hope we are ahead this time.

...

Inside a dark and creepy forest, devil qi flowed. A large castle protected by illusion formation. In the main hall, an old man dressed in devilish clothing stood in front of a large statue. The statue oozes devilish qi, it's face was hidden. One of its hand help a large flag but the other hand was empty, making one felt that something was missing. The elderly man looked at the person kneeling and said:
 

- Mei-er is near that place. Tell her to retrieve the Blood Devil Sword at all cost.

- This time the Heavenly Mountain Sacred Peak and the Hidden Dragon Island will also get involve. Give the order that all Devil Sect division would be under her command.

An affirmative: "Yes" sounded and the kneeling figure disappeared. The elderly man looked at the statue  passionately. This time, he spared no methods, even sacrificing some disciples to infiltrate the Hidden Dragon Island and use the Soul Searching technique on the Hidden Dragon old man [1] to look for traces of the Blood Dragon Sword.

- To resurrect the Blood Devil clone, I had to pay an extraordinary price. We must not fail this time.

The person that was the target of the 3 powers at the Shrouded Continent was soundly in bed. In his dreams, he had Qin Xue on his left hand, Ye Ling on his right hand and Mu Wu Han and Su Yue Er was also by his side. In front of him was instructor Zhao Wu Xin, whom he hadn't met yet, feeding him fruits. There were also many beauties dancing in the distance. Even though it was only a dream, Yang Tian was widely grinning and his drool was flowing. He never wanted to wake up from this dream.

[1] For those of you who don't remember, the Hidden Dragon old man refers to the guy that led HDI disciples to the cave where the sword was found
