Chapter 71 - Strange Illness

Yang Tian saw Li Pan's rage as confirmation that he was right. The man's embarrassment had turned into rage it seemed.

- (cough). Panzi, I understand that Xiao Hua is a bit beyond you so how about I ask Qin Xue to introduce some of her friends to you.

- I know that we are very close friends. I was born very handsome so it's understandable that you would have an attraction to me. But you must know that I only see you as a friend. I don't have that very "special" interests.

- Rest assure I won't breath a word to anyone. The world is not as strict with stuff like that as before so no need to worry.

Li Pan felt his veins popping, if he didn't know what Yang Tian was talking about then it would be an insult to his intellect. He suppressed a desire to threw his phone on the ground and took a deep breath:

- Yang Tian, you listen to me very carefully. I, Li Pan, am completely straight, I don't have that particular leaning. I'm calling you today to tell you about my upcoming clan meeting. I was hoping that when the time comes, you would accompany me.

Hearing Li Pan's voice back to normal, Yang Tian was at eased:

- It's not a problem at all. When the time comes, call me.

Hearing Yang Tian's refreshing response, Li Pan's rage was eased a bit. He was about to say something else before he heard the other line shut off.

Yang Tian was very afraid of Li Pan bringing up the previous matter again. Just thinking about made him felt cold all over his body.

With just him along inside this large mansion, Yang Tian decided to visit Zhao Wu Xin at the hospital. It would be a good opportunity to develop their relationship some more.

As he thought about it, Yang Tian immediately set out to the hospital. He quickly found Zhao Wu Xin sitting next to mama Zhao. There was another middle aged man standing to the side with Yao Nan. Yao Nan looked at the reports before him and nodded to the three people.

- She is completely cured, her health has also improved for the better. She can leave the hospital today. I've already finished all the paperworks and you guys only needed to sign and she'll be out.

The middle aged man took the papers and signed. He bowed to thank Yao Nan but Yao Nan said:

- No need to thank me, this was primarily done by Yang Tian.

He suddenly looked at Zhao Wu Xin:

- I wondering whether or not you can contact Yang Tian for me? I have some urgent business with him.

Zhao Wu Xin nodded:

- I understand, I'll call him right away.

Yang Tian heard that Zhao Wu Xin wanted to call and immediately stepped in:

- No need, I'm already here.

Hearing Yang Tian coming in, Zhao Wu Xin's father was taken aback a bit but quickly walked up and shook his hand:

- You are Yang Tian. I'm truly thankful to you. If not for you, my wife wouldn't be here today.

- It's nothing much. She's Wu Xin's mother, how could I not save her.

The two were startled and looked toward Zhao Wu Xin. This young man called their daughter Wu Xin and she didn't seem against it. It seemed their relationship wasn't simple. Mama Zhao saw that and said:

- That's right, we are all one family. Yang Tian, when you are free you must come over for a meal. Xin-er's cooking is very good.

Zhao Wu Xin knew that her parents had misunderstood but she wasn't in a position to explain. Yang Tian had save her mother's life so how could she not let him call her Wu Xin. She resolved to explain it properly to her parents when they got back so it would cause any unecessary misunderstanding.

Yang Tian heard that and was cheerful:

- If aunty had said that then I must try it when I get the opportunity.

- Why need an opportunity, we can return to our house now if you don't have anything urgent.

Not waiting for Yang Tian to answer, Yao Nan quickly spoke up:

- Sorry, I have something very urgent I need to ask Yang Tian. Can you do this another time?

Zhao Wu Xin seized the opportunity and said:

- That's right, doctor Yao Nan had said that, we shouldn't bother with their business. Besides, mother has been in the hospital for such a long time and the house is very messy so it's not proper to invite a guest over.

The two saw sense in what Zhao Wu Xin said and nodded:

- Xiao Tian, then we must take a rain-check. I'll have Wu Xin invite you over some other time.

Yang Tian could only agree and looked at Yao Nan angrily. If this wasn't important then he would teach this guy a lesson.

Zhao Wu Xin immediately pulled her parents out. She was afraid that their misunderstanding would deepened. Yang Tian saw that and didn't think it was proper to delay them any longer. After the three had left, Yang Tian looked at Yao Nan angrily:

- Yao Nan, your business better be good. If not I'll teach you the consequences of ruining my good fortune.

Yao Nan smiled awkwardly, he didn't want to offend Yang TIan. It seemed that the other person was very angry so Yao Nan chose his words carefully:

- I truly wanted to meet you for a very important reason.

- There has been a strange case popping up. The patient looked normal on the outside but something seems to be eating away at their bones. We were lucky that we caught it early and the patient has been moved to Qing Lin District and the person is now inside our Huan Wu hospital.

- There had been many specialist that had rushed here despite their work to examine but the patient. They are now in a meeting room to discuss the cause of the illness as well as a cure. It's been 3 hours and no one had come up with anything conclusive. It seems that the result won't be too optimistic.

- I want to invite you to join in the diagnostic process with them. I believe that with your medical skills, we can find a way to treat this illness.

Yang Tian seemed focused as if he was thinking about something. Yao Nan saw that he was intrigued and was elated inside and didn't say anything else. Yang Tian thought for a moment then looked at Yao Nan with a surprised look:

- Was there anything else?

Yao Nan shook his head:

- There's nothing else. This is a really urgent matter so we really should get to it. The more we delay the more peril the patient will be in.

- This was the important matter that you mentioned?

Yao Nan felt that something was wrong and before he could say anything, he was hoisted up by the collar:

- It seems I have to teach you a lesson so you don't spoil my good fortune next time.

Yao Nan panicked and screamed:

- Yang Tian, a person's life is very important, don't tell me...

Yang Tian immediately interrupted him:

- I am not some kind lord savior, were you planning to bring every untreatable patient to me? Such absurdities, who told you that I have to save people simply because I know medical arts. Whether or not I'll save someone depends on my mood. And I can tell you right now: "My mood is not very good at the moment".

Yao Nan was flailing about and upon realizing that couldn't escape, came up with an idea:

- I forgot, I have another important thing.

Yao Tian scowled:

- Yao Ling told me that your medical art is exceptional and you look very handsome. She wanted to see you in action saving people. She was sure that you would look very manly when doing it.

He immediately put Yao Nan down:

- Why didn't you say that from the beginning, let's go.

Yao Nam was rubbing his neck:

- Go where?

- To save a person, didn't you want me to cure an illness?

Yao Nan looked at him mockingly:

- Didn't you say that your mood was bad so you won't save a life?

Yang Tian didn't pay any attention to him and said very spirited:
