Chapter 1 - True Immortal

An endless scalding molten world, volcanic lava surged. An elderly man is meditating, seemingly unaffected by the surging lava around him. Suddenly wisp of dark qi emerged from the void. Each strands seemed chaotic like a combination of different kinds of qi, invoking a mystical feeling. More and more dark qi gathered and surge toward the old man creating a dark illumination. The entire molten world instantly turned dark without a wisp of light.

Inside the vast darkness there is no sense of time. After what seemed like an eternity, the dark planet erupted in black light and the molten plant was once again crimson. The old man turns his head to the sky and laugh:

- Ha ha, after 500 years, this old man finally broke through to True Immortal stage. Not only that, it's the strongest Chaotic True Immortal.

True Immortal, the ultimate existence in heaven and earth, possesses powers that could rend heaven and split the earth. In countless planes of existence, cultivators are numerous and uncountable but there aren't many True Immortal. Because of the constraint of heavenly laws, there can only exist ten True Immortals at a time. Each in complete command of 1 of 10 Immortal Qi with immortal powers reaching unimaginable heights. Yang Tian officially becomes the tenth True Immortal, not only that he is in command of the most powerful Immortal Qi - the Chaotic Qi. What perplexed Yang Tian is that when a True Immortal is born, an existing one must have died. But who in this vast Heaven and Earth can destroy a True Immortal?

Yang Tian, who was once a peak Half-Immortal, was attacked by nine Half-Immortal on his path of vengeance. Although he succeeded in killing his enemies, he sustained heavy injuries that left him inches from death. Without any way to heal his injuries, he tried to break through to True Immortal for a chance at life. Initially he harbored no illusions but unexpectedly, he succeeded.  Yang Tian observed his body, noticing that all his wounds have healed. Surprisingly, his hairs - which have greyed over the year, is now slowly turning black. His ancient face also regained its youth. His body contracted and shrink. The old man was gone and in his place was a newborn infant. Yang Tian was at a lost for word but after remembering something turned joyful:

- Is this the legendary rebirth after reaching True Immortal?

- I've heard that one can choose any stage of his life to be reborn as. Not only that, their temperament can also change giving them a second chance at enjoying life.

- All my life I've only known vengeance and blood. However all my enemies are dead but my temperament will be hard to change. Living life like this is meaningless. That does it, let's return to when I was 19.

When Yang Tian was 20 years old, his entire clan was destroyed. Not only that his enemy was powerful beyond belief. He went from a talented, silk pant young master to a vagrant wandering the streets. Fortunately he stumbled on that path to immortality and vowed to get his revenge. With vengeance in his heart, he strives to gain power at all cost. This gradually made his temperament cold and aloof. That life, he never wanted to live through again. After his decision, his body illuminated and a handsome young man around 19 and 20 years old appeared. He smiled to himself:

- I've returned, wait for me ladies.

What's the reason for living? Money, power and beautiful women. The first and second part, with Yang Tian's current strength could be easier to obtain than breathing. Because of this, the only thing in his mind were women.

- Let's go, it's time to see how much Earth has changed after all those years.

Emerging from the center of the planet, Yang Tian immediately sensed the seal he left behind. Yang Tian was once an Earthling, but to achieve higher cultivation, he left for the Cultivation World. When he was near Death's door, he teleported back to his old home to be his final resting place. Coincidentally, he met an old vagrant that made him thought of his young self. Yang Tian treated him to a meal and left behind a considerable amount of treasures for him. Not only that, he left a special seal for the man and when he died, the seal would pass down to his descendants. This is insurance for if he actually succeeded in breaking through.

- Let's go see the descendant of an old friend. 

Qing Lin district, the administrative capital of Bei Jiang province, is one of the important financial centers of the country. The streets are still active late at night. Looking at the bustling traffic from afar leaves one with as sense of wonder. It's around 9pm and a shadowy figure is approaching a large and classical house. After standing in front of the house and reminiscing, the figure knocked on the door 3 times. Old Wang is sitting alone reading a book. One must wonder why there's only one man in this enormous house. Old Wang is a tragic figure, his wife passed away early and his only granddaughter is afflicted with a congenital disease that couldn't be cured. She is currently studying abroad and looking for specialist to cure her illness. His son and daughter-in-law works late hours to make money for their daughter's treatment. Old Wang is a famous leading professor in archeology but is now by himself at his end of days.

Hearing the knocks, Old Wang felt that something was odd. Although the house has a classical style but he still installed a door bell - under his son's urging, for guests. Yet someone is here late at night knocking instead of ringing. Looking through the peephole, he saw a very unfamiliar looking young man. The youth - who looked quite handsome, around 19 to 20 years old, is patiently waiting outside.

- Who are you?
